I’ve got very exciting news to share with all of you! A publisher has approached me to help share the news of a writing contest!

Short Story Contest: Stories of Inspiration 

City Limits Publishing is publishing a short story collection titled Stories of Inspiration and we’re looking for new authors to join the mix! Do you have a short story to add? Check out the submission guidelines, and submit your story. 

Has your main character overcome a great loss? A great trial? Is there inspiration to be found in their journey? We’re going through difficult times as a society right now. We’re looking to publish a collection of short stories focused on inspiration and overcoming adversity. 

Prizes: 

• 1st Place – $200 Cash Prize 
• 2nd Place – $100 Cash Prize 
• 3rd Place – $50 Cash Prize 

All entrants whose work is published in the collection will receive a free copy of the finalized product! Last day of submission is on December 30, 2020 to submit your entries.

Romance Novel Contest with Cash Prize and Publishing Contract! 

City Limits Publishing is hosting a Romance Novel Contest featuring multiple cash prizes and publishing contracts! We’re looking for people with already completed works to join our authors. 

Prizes: 

• 1st Place – $500 Cash Prize, Publishing Contract, 100 Author Copies 
• 2nd Place – $250 Cash Prize, Publishing Contract, 50 Author Copies 
• 3rd Place – $100 Cash Prize, Publishing Contract, 20 Author Copies 

All submissions must be received by March 1, 2021. Winners will be announced by April 15, 2020. Submissions will receive feedback from our judges after our winners have been announced.

We’re looking for your best love and romance poetry! Whether happy and upbeat, or reminiscent of past love, we’re looking for your best poetry about love! Submit your original poetry for judging and publishing! 

Prizes: 

• 1st Place – $250 Cash Prize, Collection Publishing Contract, 100 Author Copies (of your collection)
• 2nd Place – $100 Cash Prize 
• 3rd Place – $50 Cash Prize
