The first word that popped into my mind after I finished this book was "meh".
The Way of Kings, pt. 2 by Brandon Sanderson
Few people other than Brandon Sanderson could write an epic fantasy story quite like this one.
The Way of Kings, pt. 1 by Brandon Sanderson
This is my third (ish) Brandon Sanderson book and it seems like his books can do no wrong. When I tell you that I've never been disappointed by one of his books, I really mean it.
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
“Mors irrumat omnia. Death fucks us all.”
The Stand by Stephen King
“The place where you made your stand never mattered. Only that you were there...and still on your feet.”
absurd and aimless
I think we've already established that I love disaster movies. However, this film might just be an exception to that rule.
sci-fi served with a side of horror
This show had the unfortunate fate of being the first show I watched after 1899 and it definitely had a lot to live up to.
mysterious to the very end
It's been a while since a television show has intrigued me as much as 1899 has.
Filler-filled and drawn out
This is probably going to be a bit of an unpopular opinion, but I've definitely seen people share similar thoughts.
Reduce, reuse, recycle
Okay, the title might just be a little bit too harsh but that really is what this book felt like.
